Ohio State University ‘privilege’ workshop says only white people can be racist
If your skin color is white, only you can be a racist, and it’s impossible for you to be a victim. That’s reportedly the message coming out of a workshop held at Ohio State University Tuesday aimed to teach white students about their privilege and how not to act racist.
This is the biggest load of crap I have ever heard in my life.
To think only white people can be racist. You ought to try walking in South Central Los Angeles or Memphis. I have been called a “honkey, cracker” and a wide variety of other names that I prefer not to list on my blog. I have been all over the United States and racism is everywhere. The areas of the country I was given the worst time was Tennessee, Mississippi, Georgia, South Carolina, Missouri, California, Arizona and Illinois.
I am sick and tired of people of color that think they are divine and are not racist. That is the biggest lie I have ever heard.
Take a walk into South Sacramento, Oakland, Richmond, San Pablo, and see how you are treated. Work or shop in an Auto Parts store in these areas. How about 44th and McDowell in Phoenix? How about Rodeo and Crenshaw in Los Angeles? How about Stockton Blvd at Fruitridge in Sacramento? How about 101st and International in Oakland? You will see. Racism is alive and well in all races. These are the most feign comments I have ever heard from a University.
Ohio State – why don’t you go back to providing your students a real education! In the mean time stop teaching hate in your classes. There is nothing more divisive to this country than telling people of color that white people are privileged.
