America isn’t the Country it Used to Be
America isn’t the country it used to be. We used to have a country where people cared about one another. We had people of all races working with each other to end the division. We had a working government that worked hard to do the right thing for the people. We had the pledge of allegiance. We had people who stood up and placed their hands on their hearts and took off their hats when the National Anthem Played. We had products made in America that we were proud of. We had the best education system in the world. We were innovative. We brought to life the technology revolution and the Internet. We made significant advances in medicine. We tackled problems with our air and water pollution. We were independent of foreign governments. We have revenues instead of a deficits in our government budgets. We were respected world-wide.
There has been an emergence over the last 3 decades of spoiled uneducated, disrespectful, un-patriotic brats that are ruining our country. Most don’t hold jobs, many didn’t graduate high school (or have GED’s), don’t understand the basic structure of our government (executive, legislative and judicial branches), have never read a history book, or made the sacrifice to serve in our military. They think that video games are real, using drugs are wonderful, rioting and destroying property is a good thing and that welfare and free medical coverage is their God-given right.
This is an age where racist organizations; Black Lives Matter, Antifa, NAACP, KKK, The White Knights and more have woven themselves within the political fabric of our Republic. These groups are significantly damaging to our rights and freedoms. The Professional Sports employees that disrespect our country and our heritage are just as bad as those organizations listed above. The Hollywood elite, news media, fake news and political bias continues to rain down destroying our country. Historical artifacts are being destroyed, the Christian and Catholic faiths are under full attack and the ordinary American citizens have taken up arms for self-protection.
This is not the America I grew up in. It is however the future of what our republic will be. I won’t attack specific generations and place blame in this blog because there is a mixture of well-educated patriotic people from Gen X and the Millennial eras. The root problem of the social changes lie within those that feel they are entitled and those that have never had to work hard, those that didn’t go without, and those without proper parenting.
There are lots of articles and prophecies in the Bible that describe the “end of days.” Whether people believe in Christ or not the Bible seems to point out the direction we are headed in. Those that believe and those that don’t need to read the good book. Its predictions are right on.
Luke 21:25 – And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;
As tensions continue to escalate with North Korea and Iran the days are numbered and it is not “if” but “when” a nuclear weapon will be used against the Human Race by madmen that call themselves saviors. The doomsday clock is 2 1/2 minutes to midnight, the closest it has been since 1980. Those selfish people who stand up and protest our country and what it stands for will be amongst those that will perish when the first strikes begin. We have not been this close to nuclear proliferation since the Cuban Missile Crisis. To me it appears that most American’s are completely inept to what is happening in the world. Social Media like Facebook, Instagram, Google Plus and more seem to allow people to live in an illusion. I don’t think any of these folks really understand what is coming. This isn’t a video game.
America is not the country it used to be. I wonder what the next years will bring. Will it be death, destruction and Armageddon? Do we have control over what the Bible predicts? Will we unite again as a country? I don’t have these answers. Nobody does. What we do have is our faith.
Romans 10:9 – That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
