FBI releases 1971 letter that D.B. Cooper sleuth says could be from notorious hijacker

Newly released FBI documents pertaining to the D.B. Cooper hijacking case include a letter that may only deepen the mystery surrounding the notorious unsolved crime which marks its 46th anniversary this week.

It has always been my opinion that D.B. Cooper survived his parachute out of the airplane.   Being a helicopter pilot in the Vietnam War he certainly had the training and abilities to do so.   This case from the FBI will not be closed until D.B. Cooper reaches his 99th birthday – so expect to see more on this.
