The Childish and Unprofessional Behavior of the Democratic Party
It is quite an eye opening experience watching the audience in the State of the Union Address. I watched the State of the Union Addresses before but I must admit I skipped many while Obama was in charge.
To see our elected officials act like children – the entire Democratic Party was eye-opening. There were a few Democrats up for re-election so that behaved a little differently but generally speaking it was like seeing children pouting when they don’t get what they want. Pelosi is an embarrassment to her constituents in California. Her eye rolls and demeanor was quite unprofessional.
The Democratic party as they sat and pouted forgot one important thing. The world was watching. The world saw how they acted. The world saw a very immature group of elected law makers having a tantrum because things were not going their way.
I do not remember ever seeing this behavior by the Republican Party. They didn’t remain in their seats when people were honored. They did not remain in their seats when Veterans Hero’s were honored. The Republicans may not have agreed with much that the Democratic party was doing but at least they acted professional in front of the world.
It is interesting to see that the Democratic party mimics the Millennial behavior. The baby boomer’s and Gen X seem to understand that there is going to be change in government when different parties are in charge. I must admit that I hated the last 8 years of the Obama Administration. I thought our military was belittled and we were bowing to the world. We were portrayed weak to the world. I did not like the social plans that rolled, the welfare the rolled and the forced health-care that rolled. We had to live with it, but I did not go bat-poop crazy either.
Democrats, I have a message for you. Look hard at the behavior of the people you elected into office and ask yourself if this is the person you want representing you now and in the future.
If you are a person of average intelligence I would hope your answer would be a resounding no.
I wish we had the opportunity to pass term limits on these lifetime representatives in the Senate and Congress. The problem is that these legislative bodies will never enact a law that limits their ability to maintain a free ride of the people forever.
There is some republicans in power that I do not like, just so you readers of this blog may know that I am not just a blanket Red Republican. There is a few Democrats that are decent people too.
In this article I know that I may have labeled people into two different political categories, and I did so to make a point.
The world is full of good people. So is our country no matter what side of the political spectrum you are on. The act of simple maturity and respect to the people who elected you into position, respect for the president of the United States and his position should be upheld when you represent the 323.1 million people in this country.
In the mean time I like many other Americans are completely embarrassed by your behavior at the State of the Union Address as well as other widely published events. You should be ashamed of yourselves.
