California’s crazy one-party liberal politics is why I had to finally leave the state — and I’m not alone

In 2011, after spending my adult life in California, working in the once-thriving aerospace industry there, serving 19 years in the state’s National Guard and six years in the legislature, I picked up my family and moved to Texas.

California is in serious trouble and the left does not understand it.   The only good that may come of this if the state split in-fact hits the ballot in November – which there were enough votes to support it.   Even though I don’t agree with the split lines California is definitely out of control and an oligarchy.   Splitting up the state will perhaps right the imbalance of power.  Unfortunately, conservative values will probably not return.  The best suggestion of a state split was made by the Jefferson State Organization but that will never happen.
