Home Air Fresheners Toxic to Pets

Essential oils seem to be the problem and electrical outlet mounted type air fresheners. The one that seems to affect my dog is the automatic aerosol air fresheners that are set up on a shelf. These spray into the room based on a timer – and clearly the release of the chemical into the air is causing toxic reactions. The only thing on the label says keep away from pets and children. I guess you are supposed to understand that means – don’t use around pets and children? These items need to be removed from being sold because they are toxic. I wonder what it does to humans?
