America’s New Chapter: Restoring Power to the People

I’ve held off on writing my blog until the dust settled following the Republican sweep on election day. Come January 20, 2025, Republicans will have full control of the Courts, the White House, the Senate, and Congress.

It has been fascinating to watch this unfold. The Democrats are attacking each other in ways I’ve never seen before. For a party that touts itself as one of unity and love, their infighting tells a different story. Finger-pointing and name-calling are rampant.

They’re furious that Donald Trump— the first Republican president elected with more than 76 million popular votes and 312 electoral votes— is now back in charge. His cabinet picks seem solid overall, though Matt Gaetz gives me pause. I doubt he’ll secure the votes for Attorney General. On the other hand, Tulsi Gabbard has been unfairly maligned by the left. Frankly, I believe she has grounds to sue for defamation. The fact that she transitioned from Democrat to Republican, much like RFK, has only fueled their anger. Both will face criticism, but they’re the right choices for America.

Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy will make excellent additions to the newly established non-government agency, the Department of Government Efficiency. This agency will finally bring much-needed oversight to our staggering $37 trillion deficit and put a stop to reckless spending. The picks for Secretary of Defense and the governors of North and South Dakota are also outstanding.

We’ll see how these changes impact Americans. God has granted us another four years. He sees the good in this nation, and now it’s up to Donald Trump, his cabinet, Congress, the Senate, and the courts to restore America to its people. The out-of-control policies of the Harris-Biden administration must end.

Key issues that demand immediate attention include the southern border, taxes, inflation, and energy. Promises like eliminating taxes on tips, overtime, and Social Security must be fulfilled. To pass Social Security reform, the Senate will need six votes from the Democrats. While raising Social Security limits and taxes may be painful for some, it’s necessary to ensure its survival for future generations.

We must cut unnecessary fat from government agencies. The FBI, DOJ, and CIA need serious reform—no more weaponizing the law for political gain.

The Democrats have learned a hard lesson. Our success will be the only way to keep them from regaining control in 2026. We pray that the Republican-controlled government delivers on its mandate and does not let the American people down.

I loved your article and agree with all you have said. Lets hope they can maintain the majority in 2026.

The majority must be held for 2026 but that all depends on what is done beginning Jan 20th. Trump must deal with the middle east. Lots of swing state voters want the issue resolved in Gaza. In Ukraine he promised to end the conflict. Not sure how anyone could make that promise or actually believe it — I am not sure if there is a solution there – but the U.S. needs to back out and stop meddling. As for Taiwan – what will Trump do? He doesn’t want another war and says Taiwan stole the chip business – I guess we will see.

Biden just authorized strikes inside Russia territory from Ukraine using US supplied weapons. God help us all – it looks like Trump will be dealing with World War 3. Hopefully Putin exercises restraint and so does Ukraine or we are all toast.
