I always loved the quote from Gordon Livingston, “Past behavior is the most reliable predictor of future behavior.” Psychologists would probably disagree because most of them believe people change as they grow older. I am not so sure.

Past Behavior is the most reliable predictor of future behavior.

Gordon Livingston

If you look at Joe Biden, our President, not much has changed. He has always been on the wrong side of foreign policy. Look at Iran, for instance, and the nuclear deal Biden and Obama brokered. Clearly the wrong side, and now his waning support for Israel is another wrong decision. He was wrong on Ukraine, he is wrong on Taiwan, and wrong on China. Remember, he allowed a spy balloon to fly across the country, taking pictures and listening to our radio transmissions before he acted under pressure to take it down. Biden is wrong on the border, wrong on our energy policy, wrong on how he is handling inflation, and wrong for allowing DEI into government. Biden was wrong for selecting Kamala Harris as vice president. She has been worthless her entire career. Biden is wrong about just about everything, yet his past behavior predicted all of this. So why did people vote for him? Was it because he was a Democrat and they blindly just checked the “D” box?

If you look at Donald Trump, this predictor from Gordon Livingston holds true as well. Anyone could see Donald Trump’s ego. It was on “The Apprentice” in full view for everyone. Look at Trump’s Atlantic City casinos. They all went bankrupt, but Trump still made millions of dollars off of them. He is a shrewd businessman. It shows in how he manages people, his real estate empire, and how he managed as President. Nobody should be surprised Trump didn’t want to concede the election. His ego said he won. Whether there were cheats in votes has still been somewhat unproven, however, many believe Trump. Trump does follow through with his business decisions. The border was in check, we were energy independent, inflation was under 2%, and there were no wars. When Iran misbehaved, he gifted them with cruise missiles. There was peace in the Middle East. Our military was strong. He fired people who did not do their jobs. He put the right people in the courts. Trump did just about everything right. His ego pissed off the Democrats, so the revenge game ensued, and now you see him fighting the corrupt legal system the Democrats were able to install. If he gets elected again, I am sure that he will be firing lots of people in the FBI, CIA, and DOJ. He will fix the borders again, start up our energy production, and throw out most of Biden’s poor decisions.

What will happen in the next five years will be crucial to our country. If Donald loses, there will be more of the same under Biden. He has proven to us, as well as Trump, that past behaviors predict future behaviors.

We are not what we think or what we say, or how we feel. We are what we do.

Gordon Livingston

Gordon Livingston had another quote that holds true: “We are not what we think, or what we say, or how we feel. We are what we do.” That quote holds true for all of us. Clearly, Biden is saying something but not doing anything he says. Joe Biden cannot be trusted because we already know what will happen. Trump, on the other hand, has proven himself by his actions. If you measure the man by what he has done, clearly he has been a solid leader. What Trump says or how he feels is a venting of his emotions. You may not like the man, but you have to judge his character based on what he has done.

In a United States government that is so broken, if you apply Livingston’s rule, you will actually see most of the Democrat leaders are liars. They say what they want you to hear before an election but rarely follow through. If you are planning on voting for Biden and the Democrats this year, perhaps take a moment and apply Livingston’s rule about behaviors and do a little research. Not only could you save yourself lots of pain, but you could also save our country.

Trump in the “hood” meeting with citizens that are having a rough time in the country — Biden living it up with the Hollywood Elites. That is the contrast of the two individuals running for President.
