Washington DC is failing to address the issues that truly matter to Americans, becoming entangled in matters that neglect the needs of the people. From LGBTQIA and transgender issues to the Gaza-Israel conflict, Ukraine crisis, and misguided allocations of funding, the nation’s capital seems lost in a maze of priorities that hold little relevance to the everyday lives of citizens.

Instead of focusing on issues that would benefit all Americans, Washington DC is caught up in a plethora of distractions. The agenda should center around critical matters such as achieving a balanced budget, curbing inflation, and ensuring border and airspace security. Additionally, emphasis should be placed on bolstering the US military, attaining energy independence, and addressing concerns regarding interest rates, homeowner insurance cancellations, and the solvency of Medicare and Social Security.

A significant aspect of revamping the national agenda involves eliminating wasteful spending and pork-barrel projects, which contribute to inflationary pressures. Regulations hindering business operations must be reevaluated to foster economic growth and stability. Border security is not only essential for financial reasons but also for combating crime and preventing the influx of illegal drugs and potential threats to national security.

The focus should shift towards investing in domestic defense capabilities rather than entangling the nation in costly foreign conflicts. Lowering interest rates is crucial to alleviating financial burdens on average Americans and small business owners. Moreover, reforms are imperative to safeguarding Medicare and Social Security from impending insolvency, possibly through adjustments in payroll deductions.

Tax reform is essential but should not entail reverting changes made under previous administrations without careful consideration of their impact. Prioritizing law and order is vital to ensuring justice and protecting citizens’ rights, while holding violators accountable through the justice system.

Ultimately, the nation must refocus its attention on addressing pressing issues that directly impact the well-being of its citizens. While acknowledging the importance of addressing social and cultural concerns such as abortion and LGBTQIA rights, these matters should be relegated to a lower priority compared to the fundamental needs of the populace.

It is imperative for both policymakers and the media to realign their focus with the issues that truly affect the nation, thereby working towards tangible solutions and tangible improvements in the lives of Americans. By refocusing efforts on matters of immediate impact and relief, the country can move forward in addressing its most pressing challenges.

Hmm it appears like your blog ate my first comment (it was super long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any suggestions for inexperienced blog writers? I’d genuinely appreciate it.

I apologize for comment going into space somewhere. The second one you sent ended up being held for moderation. I am new at this so I am not sure why. I pushed it through. I did make a change yesterday evening on the commenting software programming to allow some different functions, but that was after 9PM pacific time. As for a blog writer I am just starting this whole thing by myself – so I am not sure how I could help anyone. My understanding is that it takes awhile before the search engines start picking up on what you write – and there is pay services that will help as well as AI but I am not paying for it right now. Since I am retired and still work I don’t write all of the time, but it is a way of putting out what I think. I look for the comments to see what people are thinking, however I am not getting many back. I do get a like now and then. I have friends that don’t comment but instead send me emails on what they think. I would probably get more action if I pushed what I wrote out to social media for a larger audience. I am not comfortable with having social media accounts because it does more harm than good, in my opinion. There has been stories where people commented on social media and have lost their jobs – so you can see my concern. Thanks for the comments – and if you start a blog – send me the address so I can read it. I would be interested to see what you write – and it can be on any subject.

Today’s question would be who is in charge of the country?

Eliminating Tuition Debt has been laid out by the Supreme Court as unconstitutional, however Joe Biden is flaunting the courts order. Why we allow this behavior in the government that is supposed to be for the people, by the people is beyond me. We are 35 trillion in debt – growing by 4 trillion a year with no spending cuts in sight. This is buying votes at the expense of the tax payer, the American people. People need to see through this fraud and stand up for making America strong. For every dollar in debt we take on – America is weaker.
